Take a look at this cool footage of a nice looking young eight pointer. He has great potential. His width is very impressive. Would have been a cool opportunity to harvest a buck on film but he is just not quite what we are looking for. He may be the dumbest deer in the woods though. I was only in my stand for a couple minutes when he showed up. Still hand’t put on my camo. The stand I was in was on a hill and he was on the high side. He was literally 20 feet from me, eye level, and I was in a t shirt and sunglasses. Hopefully he grows next year but does not acquire any more intelligence. Those are the deer that I am looking for…dumb ones.
