This farm has everything the hunter could want. About 80 acres of timber, 20-25 acres tillable, a year round creek, timber ridges, creek bottom timber, pinch points,and a homesite with power…all within 20 minutes to Peoria. The layout is excellent for whitetail hunting. One side is a giant timber ridge leading down to creek bottom timber. The bottom fields are in separated by pinch points and funnels…excellent stand location. The back fields are small enough that I would consider them kill plots…meaning if a shooter comes into that field while you are hunting it, there is a great chance that you would have a chance at arrowing it. They are a lot easier to hunt than giant fields. I have seen a few deer taken off this property and it is evident that monster genetics are in place. I can’t wait to get some trail cameras out there.
The farm is on Banta Road, which is just past Spring Bay off Route 26. Super convenient location for Peoria, Washington, Morton, Metamora, and Germantown Hills.
