An old farm road that needed repaired and upgraded! Because of the existing hard base, we opted to skip the underlayment and go straight with a compacted ca6 base…which gives us a nice hard and flat base to work with. Compacting this base is an essential step that many contractors skip. Next step in this project was to tailgate millings. Another simultaneous compaction and grading resulted in a incredibly smooth and durable road!
